I first became fascinated with the mind while working in a bookstore, when I picked up a book about human behavior and couldn’t put it down. Something clicked! the complexity of how we think, feel, and grow wasn’t just interesting to me, it felt like a calling. That curiosity eventually became the foundation of my work as a therapist.
Today, I help people show up as their full selves and build lives that feel grounded, meaningful, and aligned with who they want to be. My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a model that helps you move toward your values even when life feels overwhelming. I pair that with creative tools drawn from the stories and worlds I love fantasy, books, and tabletop role‑playing — because imagination can reveal truths about ourselves that everyday language sometimes can’t.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my humor, my ability to connect, and the fact that I’m a real person in the room. I believe therapy should feel personal and relational, not like an interview. The relationships that have shaped me most — my marriage, my friendships, my teachers — guide how I show up with the people I work with.
A lot of my current work focuses on masculinity in today’s world. I’m continually learning how to be a kinder, more compassionate, more grounded, and more powerful man — and I help other men do the same. Whether you’re trying to be more emotionally present, build confidence, or show up more fully in your relationships, I’m here to walk that path with you.
Outside the therapy room, I love books, fantasy worlds, Dungeons & Dragons, and the arts. During COVID, I picked up the violin and taught myself to play — a reminder that growth is always possible, even in difficult seasons.
My ideal clients are people who genuinely want to be good humans, who are open to the process, and who value connection, curiosity, and growth. Whether you’re someone who loves geek culture, a man wanting to deepen your emotional presence, or a couple wanting to build a relationship grounded in shared values, I’m here to help.
The world is shifting, and change is already uncomfortable. You don’t have to navigate it alone. Let’s be a team.
