How do we work together?

Therapy is not about fixing what is broken; it is about providing the space you need to grow into the person you already are. My approach is designed to help you build a life guided by your values rather than your fears. By blending evidence-based clinical practices with creative storytelling tools, we work together to move toward a life of integrity, connection, and purpose.

Through our work together, you will learn to:

  • Clarify Your Values: Identify what truly matters to you so you can live with intentionality.

  • Untangle from Intrusive Thoughts: Develop the skills to notice difficult thoughts without letting them control your actions.

  • Practice Compassionate Action: Take meaningful steps forward even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain

The Strategy: Narrative & Creative Tools

Traditional therapeutic language sometimes falls short of capturing the depth of our personal experiences. To bridge this gap, I integrate creative storytelling tools, drawing on my background as a certified Game Master and storyteller. By utilizing metaphors, narratives, and character frameworks from the stories you already love, we can explore complex topics like identity, courage, and boundaries in a way that feels natural. This approach allows you to experiment with new ways of being and translate "in-game" insights into tangible, real-life change.

The Partnership: Real & Compassionate

Therapy is most effective when you feel safe enough to show up as your full self without fear of judgment. My style is open and compassionate, yet remains honest, challenging, and real.

What you can expect from our sessions:

  • A Safe Environment: A grounded space to slow down and examine your inner landscape.

  • Practical Tools: Actionable strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) tailored to your unique goals.

  • Shame-Free Growth: A focus on seeing your blind spots with understanding while celebrating the strengths you already possess.
